Lord of the Rings by: J!.R!.R Tolkien

I absolutely ADORE this book!! I think its absolutely amazing!. Tolkien was a fabulous writer with a knack for storytelling, and let me tell you, he definately had a big story to tell!. This book has an amazing plot, great characters, fantastic imagery, and just great writing!. The plot is definately unique, even though it is the classic "good vs!. evil" story!. It has a unique twist on it, in the fact that so small a thing could corrupt many things in the world!. A good writer makes memorable characters, and I want to know who DOESN'T remember this quote: "My preciousssssssssssssssssss!.!.!.!.!." A great writer makes his characters live on after his time, and the characters can be timeless!. The imagery is great; I seriously want to live in Middle Earth!!! The way he describes everything in the book, or with the detail of his maps, is simply astounding!! And finally, Tolkien was a fantastic writer!. I'm a writer myself, and I find it hard to put everything that goes on in my head (story ideas) and put them into words on paper!. I see them like movies playing in my head, and its difficult to write it all down!. By the sheer magnitude of his book, Tolkien did manage to put everything in his head to words, which is a hard skill to learn!. With that much going on in your head, it must be hard to squeeze in every detail!. Just everything about the story is fantastic, and I think it is simply the best book I've ever read!.

I'm not really into horror books, they kind of freak my out, so I don't read them!.!.!.!.although, I did read a book that was close to a horror book for me!!! It was Coraline by: Neil Gaiman!. That book seriously scarred me for life!! Seeing as its a children's book, its very disturbing, and I was freaked out!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd have to say The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon!. If I had to pick one book from that series I'd say it's either Devil May Cry or The Dream Chaser!.

The best books I've ever read are "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini!.
I don't really read horrror books!. Although, recently I read a suspence book!. "The Doctor's Wife" by Elizabeth Brundage!. It was excellent!.

Harry Potter is the most creative work I have ever read!!!!!!! Not very scary, though!. For horror, I'd say Dracula!. I love the voice in that book, but I wasn't too fond of the medical vocabulary!. Why in the world would I know all the parts of the brain!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
