Well, speaking of The Sound and the Fury (which you just answered my question about), I go to Harvard Square all the time, but the last time I was there and walking by the Charles it gave me a creepy feeling!. :PWww@QuestionHome@Com

I've been to England 1000 times (conservative estimate) and lived in Ireland for a while!. Obviously I've read novels set in both places!. I live in Albany NY, which is where the novel Ironweed (and its accompanying books) are set, as well as lots of others!.

I spent some time recently in Buenos Aires and in Chile--and I'd read a few things by Borges and House of the Spirits (Allende) and a couple of Neruda poems beforehand, so I recognized some stuff out of what I'd read (although my South American lit grasp was pretty limited before I went down there!.)

Oh! also, when I was a kid and we did a cross-country trip, we deliberately stopped at the Caddie Woodlawn house!. That was cute!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sort of!.!.!. I read a lot of romance novels that took place in the UK!.!.!. and then I ended up doing a study abroad program in college and got to travel all over and see it!
I guess I've specifically read about London and got to see that!. I think I've visited more specific places I've seen in movies than have read about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No but I want to visit the location in The Sunflower by Richard Paul Evans!. I saw it on his website after reading it and it was exactly as he described!! Made me want to go there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
