Question: When you come in late to work (or school), does your boss (teacher)!.!.!.!?
Do they accept the "I was up late last night, reading my favorite book" excuse!? That never works for me!. My students always give me the "yeah right" look and ask me what I was "really" doing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

LOL!

Whenever I WAS up the night before reading a book (it happens often), and I don't get something important done, whatever, I tell them, "I was up really late last night working hard on a very important project and I was just SO exhausted that I fell asleep while I was doing your thing!." (or whatever it is I didn't do right)

And then I always look tired, (side effects of always being up late) so they believe me!. It's mostly true!. Books ARE an important project!.

This works about 3/4 of the time, unless I had a long time to do whatever it was I didn't do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, with my boss it wouldn't "fly" simply because reading is for leisure and I should be better aware of the fact that I have work the very next day!. We readers are SO misunderstood!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hehe
Love excuses!!
But for some reason the only time i can get away with something is when i fake a note from my "grandma" saying i had to go somewhere and she forgot the excuse! hehe it works!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I never give them an excuse!. I PAY to go to that class, I really don't think it's their business why I'm late!.
But for work, I'm never late for that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i cant lie i stat to laugh and it goes down hill but if its for my reading class which is first class its not as bad if i was late for math which is just a scary pictureWww@QuestionHome@Com
