Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I love Jodi PiccoultWww@QuestionHome@Com Tamora Pierce, definitely!. She has twenty four AMAZING fantasy books!. In one world, there are two quartets, "The Circle of Magic" and "The Circle Opens", and one other book, "The Will of the Empress", are about incredibly powerful young mages!. VERY good!. There will be another book about them fairly soon!. Then in another world, Tortall, there are One of her other quartets, "The Immortals" is about a girl, Daine, who has wild magic!. She can talk to animals, and she can eventually shape-shift into whatever animal she wants!. The other two quartets, "The Song of the Lioness" and "The Protector of the Small", are about girls who struggle against great odds to become knights!. Two more of her books, "Trickster's Choice" and "Trickster's Queen" are about Alanna's the main character in "The Song of the Lioness") daughter!. And then there is the book called "Terrier", which happens hundreds of years before Alanna, Kel, and Daine!. Sorry if all of this was a bit confusing, but I had to sort of group it like that!. But the quartets in the second world, Tortall, are a bit out of order!. It should be: "The Song of the Lioness" "The Immortals" "The Protector of the Small" The characters from these three quartets meet in the later ones!. Mma Ramotswe is the Botswanan detective, and she's the most delightful person to appear in a long time!. This book won a Special Booker (best fiction in the British Commonwealth) Prize!. That happens very rarely!. It's the first in series of books which are joyous and life-affirming!. I think Mr!. She turns all these topics into the deepest most facinating stories that can make you smile, laugh out loud, cry!.!.!. She researches everything she does and sometimes using the same characters in some of the minor roles as her books are mostly set in the same state it builds a feeling that you know them!. Her books are heart wrenching and touching and they inspire you to want to do things with your life!. He has a great way with words and knows the human psyche well!. He mostly writes science fiction but also just some coming of age type books and whatnot!.
