Ugh, I know the feeling of writers block!. A few things that I would suggest is always stop writing before you run out of something to write!. At the end of the night, leave a few ideas in your head!. Sleep on them and more ideas will appear in your dreams!.

Though, as for right now, you have an immortal man!. Just start thinking about his history!. How did he become immortal!? Was he ever mortal!? If he was, how did he live his mortal life!? What other types of people does he meet!? How will he define the meaning of life!? Will he use other people to determine the meaning of life!? What does he consider life!?

Just start jotting down answers to a few questions and get to know your character!. Learn his likes, his dislikes, any funny quirks about him!. Does he do anything else spectacular!? Can he juggle!? Does he have any friends!? Does he long for friends!? How can he make friends!? Do people shun him because he is immortal!? How will he deal with people shunning him!? Will he be angry or will he try to appeal to human nature!? Or will he try to blend in and pretend to be human!? Will he be discovered!? Will the cops go after him!?

Answer one question and let that answer lead to the next question!. Just spend a few days answering questions and eventually ideas will pop in your head!.

also, dont worry about beginning exactly where you left off!. Feel free to jump a little ahead and then go back and bridge the gap!. You can smooth everything over when you proofread things!. You can change ideas and reword to make it flow better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

An immortal man who really just wants to die!.
An immortal man trapped somewhere!.
An immortal man with a crippling disease!.

Oh wait, all of those are extremely depressing!.

An immortal man's commentary on how things have changed!.
An immortal man with a quirky set of things to accomplish, (i!.e!.- eating a pizza in Italy, meeting Catherine Zeta Jones, sucker-punching Jack Black for making such terrible movies, etc!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

"When Gregor Samsa woke up one morning from unsettling dreams, he found himself changed into a cockroach!."

!.!.!. sorry, I couldn't resist! As far as immortals, look up legends and fairy tales for how they dealt with it, as it's an old trope!. What _is_ the meaning of life for this man--and why does being immortal matter to that, or how does that change the game!?

What's your setting!? And what else can you tell us about your immortal man besides that he's immortal!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Think of one of the more exciting scenes you have planned!. Write a little before it, and when you get to the scene, hopefully you will have many ideas and this will help the writer's block!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

maybe you could write it in first person, and make it like journal entries with the man telling us all the craziness going on , add some adventures he goes on to find the meaning of life that end in catastrophes but funny onesWww@QuestionHome@Com

When you have writers block!. clear your mind!. Take a break and eat a snack then come back to it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
