Question: PLEASE HELP! about a wood pipe i made!?

ok well I made a wood pipe out of oak wood!.!. but I dont know if it will be bad to use!. when I just suck throught the little hole with out any ting it tastes like wood!. so please helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

It is supposed to taste like wood, that is why it is made of wood, and oak is okay, but fruit wood - cherry, apple, pear - is more common!. Of course, the actual smoke, no matter how good it tastes does you no good at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
