Are you a good photohgrapher!? Have you seen pics of good photographers!? On the web, in magazines, anywhere!?

1!. Way too much sky; The rule of thirds ignored (Do you know what that means!?), most importantly the image is overexposed!. May be you blindly increased the contrast after taking the pic!.

2!. Photo out of focus to start with, subject bang in the middle of the pic; many distractions in the pic, very, very uninteresting perspective/angle!. Yawn!.

3!. Way too much saturation and contrast to the point it is destroyed!. Too many points of focus, what are you trying to tell in the pic!?

4!. Overexposed, unintersting perspective, too many distractions in the pic!.

IMO, all pics are bad - at best!.
Don't be disheartened, we all start like that!. All pros probably started off as very bad snapshooters!.

So, apparently you just grabbed a camera, pressed the shutter button a few times, then photoshopped most pics probably not knowing what you wanted to do in the first place, and then you ask US if we think you are a good photographer!?

The First picture is not very colorful, or
constrasty!. not a bad picture composition
wise, but not very Bold, or colorful!.

The Second picture is low quality!. I like the
lighting in this picture, but it is too low
quality!. This was obviously taken with a point
and shoot!. It would have been nicer if the
background was thrown more out of focus!. When
shooting a specific subject, you isolate it
via a shallow depth of field!.

I don't like this picture at all!. Portions look
overexposed, and some look underexposed!. also
this is a very boring photograph, it's a
photograph of garbage!. I am afraid that i dont
like this photo!.

I don't like this photograph either!. It is obviously
a point and shoot picture!. Like i said, using
depth of field in a more creative manner would have
made this photograph look more impressive!. It
looks over-exposed in some parts!. also, frame wise
you should have been closer to her, and put her
more in the middle of the frame!. I don't like this either!.

You can't explore photography ( properly ) with
a point and shoot camera of that quality!. I suggest that you
upgrade your camera to something that will give you
sharper, and more colorful photographs!. I see you have
an eye, in my opinion anyway!. They are not too bad,
just read a few books, and practice more!.

I think they're alright!. It was definitely a good attempt :)

Just remember, what makes a good shot isn't whats in the photo but whats BEING DONE with what is in the photo!. To practice you should try taking more basic pictures!. I'm assuming from these pictures your not trying to "get that perfect shot" like someone working for the NFL or National Geographic but rather as an artistic kind of thing!. Try to look at the bigger picture what kinds of angles, exposures, or placement of items/shadows would make these pictures "pop" more!? try to picture it in your head before you picture it on the printout!.

Anyway over all I love the enthusiasm!. For example, how precise each photo is (but remember the universe is never precise, its disproportionate and that's what makes it worth photographing)!. Just work on loosening it up and throwing some ideas and whatnot in!. Overall I'd say a good 6!.5-7 :)

BTW: Im assuming the dude with the really long answer (not me the other one hahaha) was just trying to critique you!. Trust me you could pick out anything in any photo!. But hey that just proves its an art! I wouldn't take it hard because i really don't think they meant it to sound that harsh if you even think they did!.!.!.

ok, the rose is boring, but you need to use the law of 3!. if you put the center part of your photo in the middle, it will be ugly, put it to the 1/3 mark or the 2/3 mark, side to side, and up and down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Great eye for the first three!.!.!.the last one i'm not so keen about although the girl is very pretty!. It seems like though that to make your pictures better, I would buy a better camera so you can focus more on the object(s) so they don't look so out of focused/fuzzy!
