Question: Why do pictures look so good on the camera screen, but look bad when you upload them!?
I always find myself having to play with the color, brightness and constast to make the picture quality look better!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Color, brightness, contrast, and 'levels' are always going to be different in the viewfinder, on the screen, and on a print!. There is hardly a picture you take that wouldn't benefit from some adjustment of these things on the computer, that's just how it is!. It has to do with the physical differences between the camera viewfinder, the monitor, and the printer!. They all have different ranges of brightness, different color response, etc!.

Besides, when you're looking at a pic on a monitor or camera viewer, you're seeing additive color, red-green-blue!. When you make a print now it's subtractive color, cyan-magenta-yellow!. If you think about it for a second, it's amazing they look as similar as they do!Www@QuestionHome@Com
