This such a nice post, thank you for asking this question!. I just stumbled upon a book on Andrew Wyeth in a thrift store and bought it because the price was right!. I wasn't very familiar with his work except of course for Christina's World, but I loved his work once I got a chance to see it!. I have been researching Rembrandt and other Dutch Masters and what is interesting to me is that if you look at the pallets of Rembrandt and Andrew Wyeth they are not that different!. They both used almost monochromatic browns mixed with scant colors!. It is the building up of tones that is important!. With all of our choices in tubes of color after color I think we all sometimes forget that!. I am glad he found a brush and some paper and lived in this world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I first saw his work when I was in high school!. I loved it then and I love it still!. He lived a good life, put his hear and soul into his work and left an imprint in the history of art for the rest of us to enjoy for ever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
