First one: 7 out of 10!. You needed to use a fill flash, he's too dark against the bright background!. Kind of nice though in terms of composition, you got down to his level!. But if you wanted to show him off, you needed to compensate for the very bright background!.

The second one, 5/10, it's nice that you can see his face and all, but it's otherwise just another dog picture!. Nothing particularly interesting!. also it's cropped to the edges, as if you were trying too hard to fill the frame!. It needs either more defined cropping, or none!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On the 1 to 10 scale 10 being the best ~~For me it is a 5 ~~Good that you you got on the dogs level and he is framed by the furniture so the eye goes right to him(!?) but it is on the dark side you were right not to use the flash ~~But these are simply my opinions ~Www@QuestionHome@Com
