Question: What is the difference between light meters when using for portraits!?
Have a Canon Mark II D (macro lens) and wanted to purchase a light meter!. There are different prices and would like to know what I should be looking for if I mainly need it to check lighting for portraits!. This will be a gift!. I've been mainly looking at Sekonic L-308s & L358!.

Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Buy an incident light meter!. Your Canon's reflective meter is a good one!.

I have the Sekonic J-510 which looks just like the L-308, but I prefer my old Studio Deluxe L-28 (L398a)!. Unless you need a flash meter, the new version of the Studio Deluxe is best for setting up your lighting ratios and determining the proper exposure using incandescent or day light For flash, the L358 has a larger incident light hemisphere so you may find it is more actuate!.!. although the wireless remote triggering is a nice featureWww@QuestionHome@Com
