A photography tutor once told me it was the way our eyesight worked, that the way women see colour makes them more inclined to the red-purple end of the spectrum, and men towards blue-green!. Apparently our perception of colour changes as we get older, which is why old women get blue rinses - it looks white to them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read recently (but can't remember where) that women are drawn to pink because when we were hunter gatherers, women picked berries (reds, pinks) to feed their family and that's why females prefer pink!. As for boys liking blue, I'm afraid I don't know!. I'm not convinced myself, so I'll be interested to see what others think!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your statement is only true for where you were brought up!.

The different colours change depending on your religion and also where you live!. For instance girls wear blue in some Catholic countries!. (Similar to what the Virgin Mary would have worn and how she's always depicted in paintings)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Humans have sterotyped that pink = feminine and blue=masculine therefore pink represents a girl and blue represents a boy!. It's pure sterotyping!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
