Question: Can you take a camera to a museum!?
Like a childrens museum!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Some yes and some no!. Check with the museum!. Most childrens museums will let you!. Art museums are another story!. Many will not allow cameras!. Others will but will not allow you to use a flash!. The flash of a camera can damage the artwork!. Your best bet is to check first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As the above poster has said, in most cases yes - in the US!. My experience in Europe has been either no, or no flash photography was allowed!. For instance, even in the US, I visited The Holocaust Museum in Tampa, FL, and no photography was allowed!. I had to check my camera at the entry!.

Best to call ahead and ask, or head straight for the information counter when you arrive!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

More than likely you can!. They will probably tell you no flash, and there may be some places within the museum that are designated as NO PHOTOGRAPHY whatsoever!. But that's rare!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
