Question: Do you like this photo edit!?

I've been toying around with taking new and interesting photos of things in the community and then photoshoping the results creatively in recent months and I was wondering if I could get some constructive criticism on some of the efforts!.

The bird photo is good in its range of contrast from black to white - the silhouetting works well!.

Many of the birds have a white outline around them, which is a symptom of using too much sharpening in your editing, at least I'm guessing that is what caused it without knowing what editing steps you used!.

The placement of the "sun" in the center counteracts the motion of the birds, since centering anchors the eyes!. If you were to move that left of center, you would encourage the viewers eyes to move from left to right along with the birds (By contrast, your off center placement of the figure in the other photograph and the outstretched arm introduce a more interesting level of motion)!.

Overall, an engaging photograph, and an idea you should continue to expand upon in different lighting conditions and times of the year!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the first just looks like you put a layer over the image and thats about it!.
