Question: Problems with color contrast!?
i have trouble discerning between the relative intensities of colors!. sometimes it's pretty obvious, but other times i just don't see it!. i find that i can shade my drawings most accurately if i have a black and white photo of the subject matter!. is there a good way to overcome this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Artists traditionally have their studios in a room facing North, because the natural light from the North stays consistent!. It could just be the lighting that messes you up!. You might want to experiment with different lighting and then see what type works best for your color discernment!. That doesn't solve the problem of where the finished work will be displayed, but it will help in the creation of the piece!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
