Where to find a very light camera tripod?

Question: Where to find a very light camera tripod!?

I'm looking for a camera tripod which can be retracted to less than a foot and weighs less than 1!.5lbs, but can be extended at least 40", preferably 50"Www@QuestionHome@Com

I got one, at radioshack, got it because I want to take it on hikes, it has the dimenions you asked and only cost like 10 bucks!. You'll have to make sure it's not windy though or may blow over!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

any good photography shop will be able to offer one!. Just don't go on weight of the stand!. Be sure it can take the weight of your camera and be able to withstand the movement of your body around it alsoWww@QuestionHome@Com

I would spend as much as possible on a tripod!. 1!.5 pounds is not very strong unless you get one of the poly carbonate fiber models and those are going to cost some money!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
