Question: How do you bring out the eye colour in photographs!? (pictures!?)!?
I've been looking through some pictures on a site and have seen beautiful images that really bring out eye colour and all the small details that make a photo special!.
How do photographers get such images!? Is it photoshop or just the photo itself!? And what kind of camera would be the best for such photos!?

Here are some of the pictures I was admiring:

the first two are definitely photo shopped dramatically, but the last one is most natural and has the least touch-ups!.

good lighting, the correct angle and any camera with roughly 7 mega pixel would be good!. =] nixon camera's are good!.

They're probably retouched!. You could select the eye area and do tints, hilites, adjust the color depth, contrast, etc!.

I have a background in art, so it helps when I retouch photos!. Keep practicing and you'll get better!. Do several different variations of the same eyes to see different results!. That will improve your retouch skills!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

All those look like Photoshop work to me!. It is very easy to go too far with this kind of thing and have eyes that look totally un-natural and goofy!. These shots are not overdone, but getting close!. It is a simple matter to make a selection of the eyes and then you can increase sharpness and also adjust color and levels to pretty much anything you want!. Again, knowing when to STOP is the real trick!.

I love all of Nirrimi's photographs don't you!? <33
Anyway, all of those photos are edited, the eyes are probably sharpened a bit and the hue/saturation was played with among a bunch of other things!. I would just try to ask the people who took those pictures themselves! Www@QuestionHome@Com
