See if you can start it in a small publication, newsletter, church bulletin or some local newspaper!.Then once you have done that for awhile you can move to bigger markets!. That way you will have some experience and bigger publicatins can see you can meet deadlines , schedules and conflicts that may arise!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The economy is creating problems with jobs everywhere, so you are going to have a problem!. But if you want to work in this industry you are going to need an extensive portfolio, meaning many samples of your work!. I suggest that you continue to draw your own comic strip and see if you can get a fan base!. In addition, visit comic conventions and bring your art work!. Opening connections with the comic pros is always a good thing, even if the opening is just a greeting and a handshake!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

draw a comic strip of different occupations using people in your area, get their photograph then show them to those specific people, attorneys, doctors, artists, etc!. They will see themselves in those comic's, set a price!. You will never know what will be ongoing until you try this!. As you know, comic's do relate with people personalities so, why not use local individuals in a one page comic strip!. I would be glad to buy one if I seen myself as the cartoon figure!. Then, how many people would show it !? You may find your gift, "your personalized comic strip" drawn and sold by!.!.!.
