Question: How impressive does an online portfolio have to be!?

How impressive does an online photography portfolio have to be for labels/venues/etc!. to take me seriously as a band photographer!?

And is flickr okay to use, or will I need to get a website!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you could dedicate a Flickr site to this purpose!. Just open a new e-mail account if you don't want to mix those pics with anything else!.
