Question: Who is De BeauVais the artist!? !?

I have a painting I inherited named "Calme" done by this artist!. It has a number on it 90/350!. I am assuming this artist must be famous!? It was framed by the Vilas-Mages Company out of Chicago!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What you have is not a painting but a limited edition print!.

You have No!. 90 in a total of 350 prints made of the original painting!. But you don't have the original painting!. Unless it is a signed (by the artist) limited edition print then it isn't worth a lot except to perhaps a collector of prints!.

A limited edition, signed print by a well known artist could be worth thousands of dollars!.

There are several artists whose last name was De Beauvais that I found!. One artist, a man named Vincent De Beauvais, was fairly well known during the Renaissance era!.

Still, we have no way of knowing which artist this is without you posting a link to a copy of the print!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your print is probably by Lubin, try googling him and also the framing company!. You'll have to take photos of the front and the back of the picture (in its frame) to get a value assessment from an expert!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
