Question: What would you expect to see on an artist website besides this stuff!?
Artist's profile
Gallery/Portfolio
Convention or Exhibition schedule
Blog
Contact info

Think someone who primarily sells things at anime/comic conventions but also wants to broaden her horizons as a freelance illustrator/gallery exhibitionist!.

I'm specifically trying to figure out if I accidentally left out anything HUGE that should probably be on this list!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your artist's profile should have an artist's statement in it as well as your bio!. also make sure you include any awards or competitions you have won!. If you want to go into freelance, you should have a list of previous clients (if you don't have any, maybe skip that for now until you get a few)!.

Try to show something different, too!. Like explain the process of a drawing, show works in progress, give tutorials!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This sounds pretty complete to me!. Don't overdo the Artist's profile (that is, don't put too much detail!.)

The advice to add a shopping cart is good, but there are a lot of decisions to make regarding that!. Is it something you are going to run entirely on your own!? Are you going to sell your art on-line but through another service!? Do you intend to do all the tracking and bookkeeping yourself!?

Aside from that, I'd like to see your work, as another artist and designer with some interest in anime/manga/comics (actually my husband's the big anime fan!.)

And I did want to offer a minor correction: "exhibitionist" has a rather kinky connotation!. I think the word you meant was "exhibitor!." =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Would you not like to have a shopping cart to sell your artwork!? I mean if you are promoting your website and want your clients to look at your work, why not also sell on your site (apart from anime/comic conventions)

You can simply use any Copy-paste shopping cart to add e-commerce in your website!. For example, E-junkie shopping cart!. They provide with a copy-paste, easy to use shopping cart which you can use on your site!. The offer an excellent service at a very inexpensive price!. They charge $5 a month and don't have any other kind of fee!. You can always register for their 7 days free trial servcie to see how it works out for you!.

also, you can see their cart in action at http://designfruit!.com/jasongaylor/blog/!.!.!.

interactive animation, but something that is not annoying either!. something unique!. if i go to a well rounded artist i would expect someone who can tell great stories with their art!. probably make a critique room, and i guess making tutorials to help others!. that's all i can come up with!. The artist's statement describing the artist’s creative process, philosophy, vision, and passion!. It is supposed to add to the understanding of the artist!.

Here is some info on how to write one:Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well!.!.!. Artist's profile, does that just show your name!.!.!. etc!.!.!. or does it give interesting facts about you!? Maybe look into giving details on what you like to do in your free time besides making art, etc!.!.!. Heh sorry if i didnt helpWww@QuestionHome@Com
