Start with whatever camera you can afford and learn to use it's features in the best way possible!.

A good photographer can get consistantly good results with even the poorest quality camera!. The camera may have it's limitations, but by recognizing what the camera can and cannot do, a photographer can still get good results!.

also remember, there has ALWAYS been good photography LONG before computers were invented!. Just because I shoot 100% digital does not mean that I have the best method!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Right now, your best bet would be to go to the bookstore and/or library and study the different types of camera angles, lightening, etc!. just to brush up on your interest!. That'll come in handy for you until you're able to save up some $$ for a camera and computer!. If you're looking to do this as a career, people will want to hire someone who a) knows what they're doing and b) knows what they're talking about!. Then you can boast about being a self-taught photographer and people will be amazed w/ your work! Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Shoot with film or use the computer at the library to access a free photo hosting site that has tools for basic editing!. You can make good pictures with an inexpensive camera, you just can't enlarge them as much without losing picture quality!. Shooting lots of pictures in different conditions with whatever camera equipment you have will improve your skills for that time when you can get a nicer camera!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

build a pin hole camera and have fun with that, you just need normal household items for that!. If you just google pin-hole camera you will easily find a lot of instructions!. You will need photosensitive paper and chemicals to develop and fix your print, but they shouldn't be too expensive!. You will learn about traditional photography at the same time which will be helpful!. If you can get access to a darkroom (e!.g!. at school or set up something basic in a basement room or closet) you can also have a lot of fun doing photograms, you don't need a camera for that and with some imagination you can create beautiful images:

Check out your local parks and recreation sites to see if there are any photography workshops that you can attend!.

Or enroll in a community college or adult high school course in photography which often allows students to check out camera equipment in order to complete their assignments!.
