What inspires you to create a piece of art?

Question: What inspires you to create a piece of art!?

I like naturalistic things, especially when it comes to rain, waterfalls, anything to do with water/purity!. It actually also helps with creative writing as well as drawing!.

So what inpsires you!?

I have a particular pallette of colors that i have settled on and painting for me is based on the use of those colors and not so much inspiration by any subject!. This has served me well because i do painting for people of things that don't necessarily move me but that i paint just as enthusiasticly as those that do!. On a more personal level, painting portriats of people really gives me alot of satifaction and perhaps it is the difficulty of accomplishing a likeness that motivates me to try and prove to myself that i can do it!. I inspire me!. Not in a conceded way but nothing else does!. I like to draw the weird, random things that come to my head randomly!. But not abstact!. Maybe sometimes!. Most people like how strange they are!.
