Well Andy Warhol is known to repackage consumer products and then selling it as high art!. So I would say that he is trying to say that even if the soup can is not only worth $1, but in another way it can be worth alot more; in the form of art!.

POP art was about making art that everyday people could identify with, Since alot of people have campbell soup cans in their pantry!. They brought images that were popular of objects that were popular or people and put it into art so that the entire population could enjoy them and connect with them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
