Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Dali if you ask anyone I know!. Even though warhol is american!. Only a certain generation is really that connected with him, I believe!. Personally I have only seen a couple of things he did and I dont see it as art!. Everyone knows Dali though!.!.!.10 yrs old to 100 yrs old!. I learned about Dali in social sciences class in high school as well in human studies and psychology!. He was in all the text books!. So I would say Dali for sureWww@QuestionHome@Com I think it's just many Americans don't really "get" Warhol's stuff!. People are fascinated with Dali's works!. Many of Warhol's works are repetitious and can be easily replicated!. You can't say the same about the stuff that Dali creates!. Plus most of Dali's works are oil paintings and oil paintings get major props and respect over other types of media!. I'd say Dali!.
