it depends on the situation!. i usually shoot in P mode because i like to shoot them "moments"!. as such, i can't afford to be adjusting aperture and shutter speed every time i shoot!.

but for those times when i know i have enough time to adjust settings (like when i'm shooting a landscape or a willing model or a sunset or something), then i shift to manual!. it allows me more maneuverability and lets me decide how i want the pic to come out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on the situation, for landscape and portraits I tend to prefer Apeture Priority (Av) to control depth of field!.

While for sports I use shutter Speed Priority (Tv) to control the impression of motion!.

Some of my lenses I can only use in manual mode but the results they produce are worth the extra effort!.

In studio I always shoot manual but in the field I use P mode while adjusting the aperture with it on the fly (using the wheel to change it with my pointer, it springs back to an auto setting after each exposure) or I use Av in other circumstances!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I never shoot on anything but manual and all the professional photographers I know are the same!. Once you know how to use a camera correctly you wouldn't want to use anything but manual!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

if they use studio lighting then its manual, i have always shot manual, some shot auto with good results, very few lack the ability to drive in manual or they would be in big trouble in more extreme lighting conditionsWww@QuestionHome@Com

P mode usually, but it can be overridden when needed!.

I usually shoot on manual, and will occasionally use aperture priority or shutter speed priority depending on the situation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I find Manual is easier than any other mode most of the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
