HELPPP!!! art project??

Question:

I am in introduction to art this year!.
For our next project, we are creating a collage!.
We have to use magazine clippings/internet photos
of something that has to do with ourselves!.
We must take a stand on a conflict in the world today!.

For example, my friend is doing hers on the war in Iraq!. That really has nothing to do with her but she is doing it anyway and the art teacher is fine with it!.

So what should I choose as a topic!?
I considered abortion but that really has nothing to do with me!.!.!.
but I still really like the idea!.

Any others you guys can come up with would be great!.
With your idea, include links of images I could use!.

Junk science is ramped but tough to describe artistically!.

Just pick something that is visual and do a good job technically and get your grade!. Luckily in school, you are just there to get good grades and learn all the techniques necessary to produce excellent art!.

Take a look in the library for ideas and also use Yahoo Search for good graphic representations of various conflicts!.

As you may know by now, art is presented to the viewer for their interpretation!.

What your assignment sounds like is advertising or even propaganda since you are being asked to choose a side and attempt to "sell" it to the instructor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
