In addition to the above, there are lenses designed for DSLR APS-C sensors (DX = Nikon, EF-S = Canon), full frame DSLR or 35 mm SLR cameras, medium format cameras and large format cameras like 4x5 view cameras!. Then of course there are the lenses designed for motion picture cameras and other specialized photo applications!.
