Open Gimp!. If you have a version of Gimp prior to Gimp 2!.6!.1 then on the main palette go to File and choose Preferences!. A new window will open!. Scroll down the left-hand side of the image and look for the Folders Icon!. Expand it!. then look, for the brushes folder!. Highlight it by left clicking on it once!. Look at the right hand side of the window!. Drop your brushes into whatever directory or directories are supplied!. Restart Gimp!.
