Select the pieces you want to make smoother using the wand tool (which is what it's called in fireworks) not sure wjhat it's called in gimp!.then reduce the noise!. If the gimp doesnt have noise reduction you can download the plugins online!. also, there are ways to steel photoshop from downloading it and using a key generator which generates a serial number!. Some are blacklisted but some work!. It took me hours to find a working serial generator for the one I downloaded!. Www@QuestionHome@Com What do you mean by "shiny and stuff" !? To me, there is nothing special about the first picture!.!.!.it just has the right lighting!. Not ALL pictures are edited with Photoshop! To take a good picture, you have to use the right lighting and the right exposure!. That's part of the problem with digital cameras!.!.!.people are so used to underexposed, pixelated pictures that a lot of people think that ANY picture that's actually clear MUST have been "photoshopped!." Guess what, I can take a picture like that right now with FILM, without using a computer at all!. The key is to have sufficient light (and the right lighting) and to get the right exposure!. I would tell you that to get the right exposure that means you need to know how to set the shutter speed and aperture for the lighting conditions!. But somehow, I know you wouldn't understand anything about that!. So if you want to get pictures like that, you just need to learn a few basic things about photography and how to use a camera!. Be sure there is enough light, and be sure you hold the camera steady!. There isn't anything special about the second picture either!. In fact, it's just overexposed and that's why it looks so bright!. She just laid down and took a picture of herself, holding the camera in her hands!. It's just a typical lame snapshot of a kid playing with a digital camera!.!.!.you'll find a million just like them on MySpace!. There's nothing special about it!. You don't need a special software to take good pictures!.
