Question: Upgrade to a DSLR or buy lights!?
Now, i know that sounds silly, but should i invest in the d90 or buy alien bees lights for now!? i include lights in this because even when i use tinier lamps, my work with a point and shoot instantly gets better, given that light is key in photography!. i have been on a fujifilm s700 right now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unless you need the video capability of the D90 I think you'd be better of to save for the Nikon D700!. The D700 is a full-frame sensor (24mm x 36mm) camera and will give you better results than the D90 but without the video!. Or you could opt for the Canon 5D Mark II which is a full-frame sensor camera with video!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Setting up a studio, for a point and shoot camera!? No!.

Get the Nikon D90, and buy the lights later!. These two cameras are incomparable, there's no way the Fujifilm is competition to The D90!. If you get the lights, you aren't making the most of your money!. Get rid of the point and shoot- the quality isn't even 1/8th as good as a Digital SLR ( well, it could get pretty close, but i'm persuading you to get the Nikon )!. Get the Nikon D90 now, and get the lights next year, you'll have fun experimenting with it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
