Ok!.!.!.!. first off you need a camera that will allow you to manually set the shutter speed!. Your camera does not allow that!. You need a very advanced point and shoot, or more preferably an SLR type of camera!.

Long shutter photos do not use flash!. That is the whole purpose of the photo!. It is capturing the scene by it's natural light!. There is not a flash going off for the duration of the shutter opening!.

I suggest you do more study on photography to get the understandiing you need of this type of thing!.

its not the flash, but how long the shutter stays open!.!. your camera cannot do this!.!. most digital will only allow you 15 seconds to keep the shutter open!.!.
if you go with eos/slr , they have a bulb setting that will keep the shutter open as long as you hold the shutter down!.!. (i would recommend a remote for this) check out the eos/slr cameras from canon!.!. http://www!.usa!.canon!.com/consumer/contro!.!.!.
