Photoshop CS4 is the lastest but Photoshop Elements is good for people on a budget!.

You can find both free 30 day tutorials on their website: www!.adobe!.com in the downloads section!.

Just a bit of advice, don't break your dad's camera!. Actually, if you have your own camera then don't use his!. Most likely it's a pretty decently sized DSLR and you won't have much luck with it as a beginner unless it's on auto mode considering you called it a "big camera!."

Any other mode you use you might end up with under or overexposed images and/or major image blur!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The latest is always the best, so its CS4, however it does cost over £500!.00 and you'll probably not need everything that's in there!.

Elements 7 is missing some basic things such as Curves and Layer Masks, but is more modestly priced at around £75!.00!.

Or you can drop down another level and download and use Gimp which is free!. Here!.

I just acquired CS3 Extended for the HDR and talked to someone last night who is drooling over CS4!.!.!. apparently it has some really neat management tools for batching and creating art!.

Guess I'm recommending (and getting) CS4 now!.
