For the first one, even though you kinda arranged it so that the characters seem to relate to each other (I know the Simposons!.!.!. I'm talking about a!.!.!. art p!.o!.v !?), it seems more like a cut 'n paste job than an image!.
So, I think you should focus on an emotion you want to produce!.!.!. and then manipulate everything else, including your copy of the Simpsons bodies/poses, for that priority!.

And, focus on a!.!.!. line of direction!? Like, where the eye follows!. Make is so that the eye targets on the path you want!. Having a kind of even, balanced space between each of the characters-- that's a little boring, I think!. (So I've been told)

Yeah!.

I like this second one a lot!. Bouncy hair!. ^___^
But, I think, concerning the hair on the left side of the page!.!.!.
I don't think it's clear enough if the bottom of the hair is on or off the page!. Because it's kind of clashed I guess, there's a focus there that pulls away from the picture!.
The right side hair at the bottom is okay, since it looks like it's clearly off the page!.
This is, in art terms, called "tangents"!. A funny sounding word for art, I think!. But I just learned it!.

I think you can add more !.!.!. hues of color to your bg!. Like, have it in the same family as that beige (!?) color you have there, but not direct descendants!. You have more diversity that way!.!.!. and with more diversity, the picture is brighter!
