Question: What Happens To Film When It Doesn't Get Developed After A Long Time!?
i have some kodak advantix film rolls that i took a long time ago!.!.!.probably between 5 and 7 years ago!.!.!.that i never went to go get developed!. they've been kept in a case this whole time, and they haven't been exposed to any extreme light or heat, they've just been sitting there in the case forever!. can i still go get the film developed, or is the film no good and all the pictures lost!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

They can still be developed, no problem, but you are likely to see color shifts and maybe a touch of fogging!.

Have them processed – you might just be lucky and discover some long lost pics!.

Films do have a ‘Use By’ date on them, but I have used films well past their dates and they were still fine!.

Give them a try, get them processed or you will never know, and you will always be wondering, ‘I wonder what was on them Films!?’

it depends alot on the temperature!. If you keep it in your freezer it can last for years!. But if you have it somewhere it gets warm quite often (above 85°F) it may only last a couple months!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

should be fine for development!. If it was kept cold you have a better chance of good pictures!. My sister found rolls in the freezer, that once we developed, was shots of her children as babies!. they were both in their late 20"s!. lol Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some of the pics may not develop at all, but the ones that will may have a pinkish hue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
