The art supply store near me runs beginner classes for $60 which are 5 weeks long!. It comes to something like $12 for a 2 hour class!.

But there are other ways to learn--your library has an art section that you can learn a lot from just by going through the books there, AND if you use meetup!.com you can find artists in your area that meet once a month who can be like mentors in teaching you!.

Ask at the art stores in your area as well, they may be running classes!. Plus there's night courses with the universities open to most ages, and community classes (usually those are in summer)!. But by talking to the people working at the art supply stores, you'll find out what's pretty much in your area!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on how good you want the lessons you want!. like you could get really cheap (abt $20- $40) at your community center, but if you want more advanced and professional then you should check out art college youth art programs (they're like $200 but they are alot better than normal ones)Www@QuestionHome@Com
