red eye correction takes the normal red eye out of a flash photograph!. This happens when light directly hits the eye!. You can either learn to use indirect light sources or use the red eye correction feature either on your camera or in a photography program!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Redeye means the pupils of the eye appear bright red in the photo!. This happens because the retina of an eye is reflective, like a mirror, in both humans and many animals, and the retina has a lot of little blood vessels near the surface!.

There are several ways to avoid it!. Some modern digital cameras take redeye out automatically!. With older cameras you could take the flash unit off the camera and hold it above the lens and to one side!. Other cameras pop the flash twice; the first time shrinks the pupil, the second one takes the picture!.
