Question: I want to sell my charcoal paintings !?
I have been charcoal painting for a long time now!. Many say my works are great and suggest that I sell some of them!. I'm considering the suggestion but I need to learn techniques on how I can preserve the paintings so that they are "sell-able"!. My materials have just been a regular paper, a charcoal pencil and a kneadable eraser!. I want to know the best ways and materials to "preserve" the charcoal paintings so that they won't smudge and they stay longer like for years!. Would appreciate the help!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Works done in charcoal are considered drawings!. Visit your local arts and craft store and ask them for a fixative to spray on your drawings!. also, check into buying some good quality drawing paper!. Let them know you are on a budget or they may try to sell you some really expensive stuff!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
