Draw from observation!. In photos, everything is always decided for you: shading, angle, perspective, etc etc!. Making those decisions for yourself is what makes your drawings really by you!. You can copy from drawings as practice, of course, but you should really try to break the habit!. If you're worried about your drawings not being "good", here's a tip: stop worrying! Right now you're drawing for you, in order to improve, so there is no need to be so worried!. You don't need to show those drawings to anyone!. also, you don't really need to be in art classes for drawing!. Just draw everything all the time, things on your desk, people walking by, whatever you see!. The only benefit to being in an art class would be that a teacher would tell you, "Don't be afraid to make bad art!"Www@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of the art that u see is drawn by looking at a picture!. That is to say you can have a model sit for you or stage what you want to draw on a table or go to a location to draw it!. There is a lot of value in the way you draw!. Art classes could defintely make you a better drawer can they teach you to free draw is unknown!. If you haven't already there are a lot of books that step by step teach drawing!. That may be another way to go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
