I am working with Photoshop and InDesign, and I am trying to figure out why I cannot change the color of any image that has a transparent background!. I can change the color of any image if it has a white background with it!. But for what I am designing, I can't have my images with any background color!.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or give suggestions please!.!.!.!. Thanks in advance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the grayscale is only b&w, you had blue, try leaving rgb or indexed, then transfer, also try png or eps,

Hi Sanjo

First, even if the image is full color or grey or black and white, you have to combine all the layers before manipulating changes!. Or, create a mask of what you want to change the color, and apply the magic wand and the fill on that particular spot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can't change it because you converted the image to black and white (grayscale) first!. Once you do that, you can no longer change the fill to a different color--it only changes from shades of gray to other shades of gray!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
