Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: yes negatives are those brown strips with photos you receive from printers, the negative is the actual roll you place in camera to take photos with, send in the roll to be developed, and they process in strips as you mention, George Eastman ~founder the Eastman "Kodak" Company, http://www!.history!.rochester!.edu/class/k!.!.!. Okay!? Let's suppose that in fact that those brown strips are indeed the negatives that are returned with your prints after having them developed!. If that in fact is the case then give me really good reason why they would be called negatives!.!.!.!.!.!. What about them makes them negative!? Why are the ones you get returned to you a brown color, (correction though, they are actually orange)!. Then why are some of the strips you see sometimes actually grey in color!? The answers to both of these questions are very obvious and once you think about it for a second it will all make sense!. Now, as far as George Eastman goes, what would happen if you actually placed his name in Google!? Who do you think George Eastman is and maybe he has another last name!? Once you realize that last name you will realize the significance of the Eastman family overall!. Here is another little clue that will help you even more if you think really hard about it!. I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida where I continue to live!. About two miles from my home is a very nice right on the river and about a stones throw from the ocean!. The house although really not so impressive right now was at one time considered quite a mansion!. George Eastman visited one of his very best friends who owned and lived in that house many times!. His friends name was "Land"!. Using that name in Google along with the Eastman name should give you another very famous person who invented a very important item!.
