Question: I have to make a pi?ata!?

How do I make one!? I need this to be detailed!. I have to have this done by Friday!. I was thinking of a donkey!. Any other suggestions!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

collect cardboard and newsprint from recycling, design sketch of item, carefully fold framework for character, like donkey, make round tubes for legs, make larger barrel shape for body, does not have to be solid, same with neck and head, then make batter of flour/ water mix for paper mache, tear up pieces of paper and apply to frame, leave section open like tail end and make lid cover to ad later, once paper mache is done , you can paint colors of choice, and optional is to use coloured layers of gift tissue wrap, you can and hook on string with paper mache or glue if for hanging from ceiling or outdoors,

An easy way would be to start with a cardboard box, like a cereal or shoe box, and decorate it with other pieces of cardboard and crepe and tissue paper!.

If you had more time, you could make an even better one by layering papier mache' over a form made from a balloon!. When dry, you could poke a pin through and pop the balloon and then paint and decorate the pinata!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
