Question: How should i present my art work in my sketch-book!?
The title of my art project is called 'Mark Making!.' I'm in year 10(in England!.) It isn't the best topic because a lot of it is just drawing marks to create pictures and things like that using marks!. When i write things in my sketchbook, i run out of ideas of how to present some boring text!. I want to make my sketch-book interesting, so what could i do to make writing more interesting!. What backgrounds!? What could i put on it!? Anything!. Please help!. All ideas welcome!. It doesn't have to just be idas for writing, it could be for anything!. You could also help me by saying how i could present small drawings on a page with annotations!. Anything, please help!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Jo ~ A3 is a good size, and I agree that Landscape is good, it has more of an "art" look about it than portrait!.

Having done the picture with your marks/shapes whatever I guess you are describing the finished piece!.

Why not take one of the marks/shapes you have used, enlarge it so that its large enough to take what you have to write and place it in one of the bottom corners of the page!.

You said the other day about using fluorescent paper, this can be too strong and take away from the picture, but you could use a pastel shade and write over the top of that, which would bring interest and attention to what you wish to get across!.

Frankly I would have to see the picture you are making to be able to give you any further advice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I say that you should present the work Landscape in your sketch book as you'll have more room to do your thing! hope this helps!.!.x!Www@QuestionHome@Com
