Question: Please Help Me! Is Photoshop 7 Good to Improve Glamour/Nude Photos!?
Is there a good guide on line, or a good book to help me!?
I had hire a photographer but not only she is unaprochable and very expensive and she never has time!. So i got angry and went to the store and got the programme Photoshop 7 and the book photoshop for dummies, is there a book to guide me or a good course on line!? I just want to take away some body image imperfections, suck as scars or wrincles, because most of the photos are very professional, very good quality!. Please help me!
As i went to the book store i learned that photoshop CS3 has more features!. Can my photoshop7 do the job, like adjusting make up in the model for example or light up her eyes!? Thank you so very much!

there are many tools and many different combination of tools and features in photo shop that can be used especially in the more later versions!. layers and the healing brush will be used most of the time but there are also some cases where theres 2 things will be rather useless!. that and there are many precautions that will need to be taken when using the healing brush tool such as "leaking", (which occurs when using the healing brush tool close to edges of your picture) there are also some areas on a picture that will be hard to use this tool on!. for example behind stray hairs that sometimes spread across your forehead/face!. To me the best way to learn to "photoshop" is to practice on your own and just explore it!. i'm not familiar with photoshop7 so i don't know what features is of access to you!.
i have version cs2 of the line of photo shop products and i have acquired adequate knowledge on it!. i suggest that if u still aren't getting what you really want out of it that u ask a friend or someone you trust to edit the pictures for you!. I guess if your a professional you wouldn't want your pictures leaking onto the internet so i suggest u dont post it up online so someone edits it for you, unless you have some one you trust to send it to personally!.

I agree with Ace that you must mean Photoshop Elements 7!. This is a VERY good program, but you are not going to walk into it overnight!. Scott Kelby's books are always very good for learning, and he always specificially addresses portrait touch up techniques!. His book on Elements 7 is not released yet, but it would be well worth the wait!. I suggest you place your order now!. You will not be disappointed!.

FORGET the Dummies books!. The dumb thing about those books is that anyone buys them!. I have never seen one yet that was worth a nickel!. Plus the Photoshop for Dummies book is a general overall book and is not specific to any particular version of PS, so throw it in the trash rather than having it confuse you further!.

As you have found, using any photo program to "fix" images is not a matter of pushing a few buttons and at a minimum you will need some advanced skills in using a computer!.
My guess is you bought Photoshop Elements 7, since the full version of Photoshop is around $700 and is called CS4 (version 11)!.
But I think you may want to use lighting and camera techniques to improve you glamour/nude photos!. Remember, until about eight years ago, photographers were shooting exquisite glamour and nude photos using film!. That meant everything had to be captured in the camera !.!.!. not fixed later!.
Do a search for glamour and nude photography books sold on Amazon and then use the techniques discussed in the books to set up your lighting and photo sets to produce the quality images you desire!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
