Photography Project Question?

Im in 11th grade and i got a photo class!. The first project is to take pictures of "My favorite things" She said that i will then have to choose one picture to be the final one and she will grade it!.

Does anyone have any ideas on what i can take pictures of!? I definetly will take a pic of my cute dog!.

Take a pic of ur cute dog I guess but then what I would do next

is put him in a abck ground of a park or in a beach with a bone or whatever makes hi mhappiest the msot

then choose if u want him to be the focus, a close shot with the beach in the background!. Showing that you care about him more than what else is going on!. Your engrossment!.

Perhaps your family, if you like your family mroe than your dog!. Like an example, is

Your Family are in the forefront of the picture, on a beach in black and white!. Symbolising, that you palce your family first and that the enjoyment is being with your family and not what the activity is!.

So for your dog!. Perhaps, a close up or a lnog shot, showing you are happy and content and enjoy everything, and not jsut one thing!. In the background, on a wall or soemthing you can have objects!.

Well, seeming you're gonna take a pic of your cute dog!. I would put objects that make him happy next to him!. Then definetly a close up of his face, use a bit of angling and black and white and the pic will definetly be memorable!.

EDIT: Definetly do not use flash!. It will be in the morning anyway, and a close up is not neccesarily an extreme close up!. A moderate distance is fine!. it will definetly not hrut your dog's eyes unless you use flash!.

Edit: P!.S!. Danny, u shuld try Rakion it's a good game by Softnyx!. I played it heaps, but got addicted to it so I tried Warcraft, it was crap but on BattleNet, there are good custom games like DBZ Trib, Civlization Wars which are fun and sometimes DOTA!.!.!. Anyway Flyff is good, and also Bots is prtty good!. Have u tried using auto stuff in Runescape!? Like auto miner!? I tried it once, and got hacked from it lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything of yours you're fond of!. Favorite food, your mp3 player/ipod, stuffed animal from when you were a kid, favorite accessory!. Objects like that!.

You can also be a little more abstract!. (Say one of your favorite things is taking walks!. Get someone to walk, take a picture of their feet on the sidewalk!. You like to write, show a journal or a hand writing in a journal!. You like soccer, show the ball or cleats or field or something!.)

It's a nice, open ended project, you can take pictures of anything you like!. Remember to keep the composition in mind, though:

take a picture of anything you like!.
you could take portraits of your friends or family!.
you could take action sports of someone playing a sport you like!.
you could take a still life of something!.
(example: cooking supplies set up randomly if you like cooking)
a picture of your dog might turn out really cute!.

Ohh I like this question because I am also a junior in photography!. I recommend a favorite place, hobby, person!. Maybe if you play an instrument or something like that!.
