Question: What is a visual cue!?

i have to find a Visual cue for Fossil fuels,Greenhouse gases, Global warming, Mega-droughts, Continental ice sheets and, Carbon Dioxide!.

Visual cue , a point of reference, a symbolic icon, an object in mind that refers to the larger picture, a virtual idea that tells the mind what the idea is there for,
( for here in the computer, there is a flashing mouse pointer while typing, indicating that someone is about to type, hence it is your cue to use keyboard to continue )

~with sculpture, the image or item refers to the greater topic at hand, when you walk into a room and notice pink ribbons, the innuendo/ hint is breast cancer,
~for example the Global warming could be an iceberg falling apart or melting, or an ice cream scoop on a cone, with green and blue pattern outlined as the planet, melting and dripping off cone,
