Let me put it this way: I believe more and more children, as their ages and grade levels increase, come to think there are fewer and fewer ways to do things!. There are set ways, set standards (so it seems), so maybe it is that their future might as well be set!. High school drop-out = dumb guy!. I gots 5's on my essays = higher average = I'm gonna be a success!. It's not that school is bad, but it's become a place that's not a very good learning environment!. It's more of a place where you learn to behave and accept the adult's rules than to learn something meaningful!.!.!. But, with all this, I don't think school is killing creativity!. I don't think that's possible-- because I think you are the sole owner and inhabitant of you!. When you're really feeling alive and feel harmony within you, you get more ideas and schtuff!. You become more productive when you're positive about life, and your heart is lighter-- then the wind can carry you to those far flung and far between places!. It's not that school's need to change, or any person needs to change, or anything needs to change, other than how you view your world (I think your perception is everything) in order to be happy!. Not many kids I know seem to be happy, and I live in Hawaii for Chrissakes!. So I don't believe it has anything to do with outside factors!. If you want to make any sort of difference in the world I think it'd start with you making amends to you, and appreciating the contrast life provides you with so you might develop your preferences, and determine your life experiences!. But the best decisions you can make arrive when you are in harmony to You, for that is when, in your eagle-eye view you have much clarity and proportionate/appropriate perspective on who you are and where you are!. Try to be kind to yourself! Then you'll feel very!.!.!. good!.!.!. very good!. In harmony!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, our school does not seem to focus on creativity THAT much, but there are a decent number of my VCE studio arts class, and a whole lot of people in the year 10 class!.
