Question: My paper-mate mechnical pencils say no refill!.!.how long do they last and can they somehow be refilled!?

its the yellow kind wehre you twist the tip to get the lead out right!? I had those and its almost impossible to refill them!. i wasted so much lead it isn't worth it!. they are meant to be disposable justlike normal wooden pencils!. next time get a nice lead pencil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Usually 3 leads in the chamber and one in the nib when you get them!. Or at least thats what I get in my Bics!. And the leads are longer than the replacement leads for refillable ones!.

Although if you have a very steady hand you can refill it!. Get leads that are the same thickness (!.5s or !.7s usually)!. Press down and hold on the button, and slip a lead in through the hole in the nib, then another and another, until you have three in the chamber again and one in the nib!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you can refill them, just put them back in where it came out(the part where the carbon comes out) !. hold the button down and push the carbon sticks in the little hole!. point five, point 7 whatever you have!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
