Question: Art Project (A-Level) - Stress!?
Okay, the art project which I'm currently doing is about 'Stress' and I was wondering if anyone who is full of ideas could help me out!. I want to create a title page for each category!. I think there are nine categories!. For example, the first category is Primary Sources, the second one is Secondary Sources, etc!.!.!.I was wondering how I could create a title page for each one!. Here's some ideas about the project which might help:

Violence: Guns, Fights, Knives, Deaths, Blood, Injuries!.!.!.
Vices: Smoking, Alcohol, Gambling, Drugs, Crimes!.!.!.
Lack Of: Money, Love, Friends!.!.!.
Emotions: Depression, Anger, Pressure!.!.!.
Buildings: Derelict, Graffiti, Abandoned, Broken Windows!.!.!.
Weather: Storm, Clouds, Rain, Lightning!.!.!.

If anyone could think of some more ideas like those then that would also be helpful!.

For the title pages in my last project, I got pictures of street signs and then create my own sign and stuck that over it!. For example, I changed a 'Road Closed' sign into being 'Primary Sources' and it looks very good so I done it again and again using different street signs!. An idea which I could consistently use like that in my project would be good but I'd take anything at the minute! Thanks!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi!.

You could try 'color coding' Primary Sources with Primary colors as something different!.

You could then proceed with expounding upon the Primary colors representation Primary sources with a detailed explanation showing how primary colors can also [but not always] be used to denote such emotion(s) UNDERLYING & DRIVING 1!. the DESIRE to act/re-act, e!.g!.,Unresolved Fear [color code primary blue] evolves into intense and increasingly unchecked emotion of 'Anger' [red] and this stimulus could, by degrees, be 'Yellowed' because of the contributing 'stimuli' etal!.
You could also link patterns of behavior and colors with symbolism and other inter-related associations such as are inherited and/or/as well as learned/acquired and present them with accompanying 'signs' that are commonly used in interpreting 'meaning' and so on as well as how communication breakdown provides the means of misinterpretation and meaning can be further colored/skewed/employed in misrepresentation of emotions [that are unreliable anyway and subject to 'change']!.

You could also consider such things as the causal effects of violent change and incorporate such things as 'design' and how design of buildings, communities, shopping malls, the 'bum seat' and so on are made to counteract the emotional and psychological breakdown experienced by humans!.

You could also incorporate such things as how the individual [eg the flaneur] responds to such architectural design(s), how police in hte act of community policing and the deviant [in search of a target etc] respond and so on!.!.!.

You could also look at advertising and the sources of claims designed to enhance well-being that really, in truth, subject the individual to any but well-being and bring about a colored confusion in which s/he is subject to 'signs' that deliberately mislead and reinforce violence in the oppressive denigration of the human who is subject to dominant motifs such as 'power' [misplaced] and the absence of identity etc!.

Let your brain cells and heart do the dancing and ALL THE VERY BEST WITH YOUR PROJECT!. Let us all know how you fare with it!.
