You may have issues beyond just the lens' if they were stored with your Canon it quite likely is 'infected' as well!.

Depending on the fungus type, ultraviolet, infrared or as another suggested, baking it in reflected sunlight/heat could reduce if not eliminate the spores!.

Of course, you do want to remove power (Camera batteries if the camera is a concern you also want to address)!. Most fungus require moisture in order to grow (I'm not going to say all because I'm not a biologist and recent discoveries may prove that thought not entirely true) so by removing dampness (heating) sometimes you can remove the fungus at least in it's live form!.!.!. the problem is that it's still inside the lens!.!.!. even as dust particles that will float around the lens elements and degrade your image quality!.

The fix is to replace the lens!.

As for that sound of the motor winder!.!.!. you don't upload that into your camera so you have your own unique 'sound'!.!.!. the shutter operation is the sound the camera makes!.!.!. period!.

Unfortunately fungus is the kiss of death to lenses as it secretes an acid that etches into the lens coating and glass rendering the lens useless and beyond economical repair!.

Ultra violet will kill the spores, so you can leave the lens looking at the sun for a few weeks (being careful not to start any fires like the old magnifying glass trick) for added effect you can stand the lens on aluminium foil to reflect the ultra violet back through the lens!.

This will kill the fungus, but the damage will already have been done!.
